Nancy

Nancy is an Entryway Bureau that belongs in anyone's home. Do you want Nancy? The Boston Globe will be featuring an article on Second Coat's process of restoring Nancy from the not-so-perfect (hideous) state we found it in. The article will come out this Thursday. We'll post the link to the article then, but for now, enjoy a before and after pic!Add Video

  1. This looks like a Nancy. A woman who likes tea and biscuits and the occasional martini.

    Well done.

  3. Just read your article in the Globe-I love what you are doing. I have several pieces in my home that I "trash-picked" or bought from craigslist, and then refurbished or retrofitted. Our most recent do-over is a curbside bureau find that my husband redesigned as a console for our flat screen TV. Cost: about $50 including all labor and materials.

I love repurposing and reusing-keep up your work, it is beautiful!
