Amaryllis Are Red... (Sometimes)

This bookshelf was another stray left behind after a roommate moved. When I took it in, it had orange-y stain that clashed with every other piece of wood furniture I had, as well as the hardwood floors in my apartment. But with a little help, it's become the perfect home for cookbooks.

This shelf also holds a lot of my favorite things, which happen to be red. Fitting for February 14th huh?

Amaryllis from my aunt, from Jackson Perkins (great gift idea!) Also, the plural of amaryllis is... amaryllis. I checked.
